Well, it was an epic morning of Gobbling this Easter morning. I guess they were making up for yesterday.
Heard multiple birds FIRED UP on the roost this morning. One was even gobbling his head off in the pitch black dark!
Gave some tree calls and clucks from my trumpet and they went nuts. Once they were on the ground I just gave a soft yelp and a few clucks and this one came in on a string. Was done by 7:45am! Day 2, bird 2. Oklahoma next week!
Just a two year old, but a gobbler none the less. I know what's for Easter dinner!

What state were you hunting? Best part of tagging out early is opening up the options to go other places. Congrats. Good luck in Oklahoma.

Nice job. Congrats.
Sent from my thunder chicken slaying machine!
Looks like you did your homework... Very nice
2 for 2 looks like you are on your way to tagging out.
Congrats on the two for two. That bird looks dry, I didn't know there was a dry spot in Georgia. Thunderstorms ruined my day yesterday (I despise a rain soaked vest and friction calls) and when I got up this morning it was pouring so I climbed back in bed only to be wakened 45 minutes later by my six year old screaming the Easter bunny came and left her a ton of good stuff.
Good luck in OK and tagging out at home.

Thanks. We lucked out. Rain held off here until well after lunch. Birds were on FIRE this morning. One was gobbling in the pitch black dark before sunrise! It was quite a show. Good luck to you as well this season.
Congrats! Heck of a start to the season.
Congratulations
Congrats!
