Title: Jebs .650
Post by: holtspur on March 24, 2016, 09:05:15 PM
I'm looking at this in an 870 with a 21" barrel. But I'm afraid it might be too much constriction. Or do yall have any experience with this  hoke?

Try it, he'll swap out for you or give you refund if you don't like it.

Could buy from Clark @ allaboutshooting.com for $90 and have piece of mind knowing that you can swap/refund. If you're spending $75, might as well go $90

First one I'd try would be a 660 or 655 if shooting #5 or #6

Anything over 6's will probably start to blow the pattern. Every 870 I've owned or worked on has preferred a .660 or .665 constriction.

Well he had been shooting Longboard 5 shot  I also didn't realize that they would work with you like that. I just figured you bought it and if it didn't work oh well.

Not sure if they will work with you if you bought it second hand. If you buy it new they should
