Any help trying to get the Yelp down now. I did watch the Steve Mann video pretty helpful.

lots of youtube and lots of practice, and try everything. lots of different slight variation of how to hold the call or the paddle

Best advice I can give you when learning to run a box is to relax!!! Don't be tensed up, and let the paddle do the work for you. Don't stiff arm the stroke. Use wrist movement and don't lift the paddle on the backstroke. Using your wrist will help obtain the breaking yelp much easier.
