Went out scouting last weekend. Nothing like that first big gobble. My heart was racing as I listened. I knew I wouldn't be able to resist calling so I left them at home. What started as one gobble suddenly grew to two in the same group. Then another one started from a few hundred yards and as he got more fired up I realized he had a tree mate as well. This kept escalating until I calculated 7 gobblers within 300 yards of me. I can NOT WAIT!!!!! I have been doing this for almost 30 years, shot close to 90 birds, but I am still like a kid on Christmas eve every night before I hunt!

Ain't it the truth!
It got me all fired up just reading about it. Sounds like a good time to me, good luck!

Yes Sir.
I don't think it ever gets better, seems to get worse the older I get. I'm 46 and get all giddy when I hear one, so my wife says.
