Title: Snakes out already !!!

I went out to listen to turkeys this morning and seen 2 snakes. 1 was a black snake and the other looked brown color. I didnt think they would be out untill mid next month.
Have any of you guys seen any snakes yet ?

I usually run into a copperhead or two every turkey season. It only takes a day or two in the high 60's to get them moving.

Yep. Out and about here in Florida.
We had a cotton mouth in the parking lot at work today. Not what i wanted to see with my plan to set up in the morning next to a swamp.

This is going to be the absolute worst part of turkey season for me. Snakes give me the heebie jeebies like no other. To the point when I see one, i'm like... :z-guntootsmiley: :help: :z-guntootsmiley:

We've had some awfully warm weather here for March. But if the snakes are out now............they're about to get their butts frozen next 3 or 4 days.........

I do not experience these vipers in NY ... Thank goodness. I'm sure they're around but far and few in between.
