planning a trip early 2017 and sure I must book early. Have never been there any outfitters you might recommend would be a great help ?

TL guided hunts.  He is in the panhandle.  Plenty of birds

I have hunted with Troy at TL guided hunts twice..great guy and lots of land and birds!

I hunted with rut and strut outfitters last spring. Todd Rogers is the outfitters. It is unguided, they show you the properties you have to hunt and you are on your own. There were plenty of birds and we limited out with a day to spare. Todd is a super guy also.
