Will federal 3rd degree shoot out of a Sumtoy or will the flight control wad mess it up?

The flight control wads wont hurt anything. It will shoot them, how well... not sure.

A lot of guys use Sumtoy and shoot Federal Heavyweight, so I think you should be ok

I have a sbe2 with a 650 sumtoy. The shells are 3 inch 3rd degree

I would not want to with that choke. I have one that has small stops in it that will work with the wad.
