How is the Alabama season looking for this year?
I didn't hear any gobbles on opening day. And it was hot!!!! But still excited to get back out there.
Over 80 degrees first 2 days here in central Bama. Some birds are ready to play but I had 3 gobblers still running together in field with me this afternoon. Hen groups have broken into singles and pairs now. Should be getting better in next week or so.

Congrats sir! I am happy or you!
Heard one opening morning that gobble maybe 20 times in an hour and was still gobbling at 10:30 but had gathered hens in a bottom. Not a peep second morning. Reports of bull gnats swarming on Alabama River in Monroe Co. so badly that chickens were trying to hide in yards.
Snakes, skeeters, hot, and rain with 2.2" hail in Monroe Co. this morning. Wind will come next but hey, it's turkey season so deal with it.
Best of luck and a safe season to all.
