Title: Friction Wood caller
Post by: WillowRidgeCalls on March 16, 2016, 06:19:02 PM
The shop is finally drying out enough to get back in it to get some work done. This is a Kenny Morgan style Friction wood caller. It's made of Maple with a Birch/Hickory striker. It will produce that sweet deep hollow sound, that the Morgan's are famous for, the clucks and purrs are soft and chattery, the yelps are a smooth and clean and or a deep and raspy sound. This is the first one of this style caller, so I've got a little fine tuning to learn on this style caller, but they do sound good, and I love building a fiction wood / tongue style calls.
Thanks for lookin, Scott
