Post by: quavers59 on March 16, 2016, 11:15:40 AM
Up here in New York-- these deer ticks are really bad. They are out really early this year as well! Good thing that I had my repellant on this morning as I was scouting!! Stay safe out there!!!

Was out stomping around by the river 2 weekends ago here in CO with the dogs.  My wife pulled 2 ticks off herself the next morning - not sure if I was the carrier or the dogs, but she threatened to have all of us sleeping in the kennel.

Was out shed hunting in Cook/Kane County Illinois last weekend and they were everywhere, we had a frost 2 days prior.  I hate them things!

I was out looking for antler sheds last Friday and had to have pulled at least 20 off my clothes before I was done. Nasty little things...

I have found ticks on myself and the dogs after hunting coyotes in a foot of snow and 20 degree temps!  Its never to early or to cold for ticks!
