Looking to put a fastfire or similar style on my sons 20 gauge. It is a youth model Escort semi auto. Apparently they don't make any mounts for a 20 gauge. I tried to mount it on top, but he only has a dovetail mount. And with the dovetail to picatiny and then the sight with bracket, it's way too tall for him, as he's only 8. His head is off the stock it's so high. Even a little much for a cheek pad. The next option was to drill and tap and mount on top, which was still a bit high. Debating on using the mount that goes between the receiver and stock, but would have to fab one to fit. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!
How about drilling and tapping it for a lower mount, like the 336 mount? I did that with my Nova and it sits very low.

I saw that on here on another thread after I posted this. That looks great. Where's the best place to find one?
My daughter used a FF on a 336 mount for years. It's not the best shooting form, but she never missed once I added the FF.
"So he cocked both his pistols, spit in the dirt, and walked out in to the street."

Purchased mine on Amazon. The set up is rock solid on my Nova.
