What surfaces are you guys finding that your snakewood strikers sound best on? Would be interested what pots as well.

such a versatile striker,  I love snakewood on aluminum and glass.  I just ran my Lyman snakewood on my plastic stoned aluminum and shes a smoker.  Scoot

A fully snakewood pot with matching striker is definitely a bucket list item for me, i'll get one eventually! I was thinking slate over slate, or slate over glass.

Glass and crystal for me. My lon trice black acrylic with my lyman snakewood is a great combo for me.

It does make my Sinclair brass sing..aluminums sound pretty darn good...but for some reason..LOL..its just not doing it on my crystals or glass...yeah it could be me...but tulipwood,yellowheart,monkeywood,rosewood..ect all the traditional glass crystal woods make em sing..thats why I posted..i thought it would do better on these surfaces..for me anyway
