Title: Good woman
Post by: tha bugman on March 15, 2016, 05:37:50 AM
Found this on top of the coffee pot this morning.  Glad to be married to a woman who understands my passion. (http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160315/07ca46c0414b28d0d23b7373e11c0e84.jpg)

Sounds like a keeper. Mine would have left a "honey-do" list. Haha.

I shouldn't joke like that. She's a great woman. Puts up with a lot. Don't think I'm always the easiest person to live with. She puts up with a lot. I try to make it up in the off season but I'm probably still way behind. Thanks God for understanding women. Did I mention she puts up with a lot?

That's a keeper..my wife never complains about what i buy for turkey hunting because she loves to eat fried turkey. We had it last night for supper with white beans and cornbread.

That's awesome. My wife doesn't hunt but also doesn't gripe about me hunting or spending money, but she would not leave a note like that either.  :) They say behind every good man is a good woman and you my friend by the looks have that..... Good luck & God Bless

That is nice.  I'm blessed too.....I come in the house with strikers,  calls, playing them for her to help me discern the subtleties, etc.  She never complains......about my turkeying anyway!

There are women that will tolerate our outdoor addiction, but finding one that's actually happy for you in it is something else altogether. I'm happy for you my friend and God bless her. :icon_thumright:

If i wasn't already married to a good one, I'd ask if she had a sister. No doubt, she was raised right.

My hunting & fishing gear said that I couldn't have a wife, so I got rid of her. ;D
Had my ex been half as understanding as your wife, she might not be an ex!
I know I don't need to say this, but, cherish the wonderful woman that the good Lord blessed you with.

Well that had to put a smile on your face...

Pick up some flowers or something she appreciates, and I'll bet she does more than write a nice note. ;D

I'm going to let my wife read this post because she complains about turkey hunting through both the fall and spring season along with deer season....and not to mention my college football season tickets that consume my Saturday's. We're kind of the "opposites attract theory"  No complaints though...great wife and mother...she keeps me straight.

I don't get notes on the coffee pot, but my wife is very understanding of my passion of the outdoors. In the first couple years of dating and marriage, it was hard for her to understand, but once I got her in the woods to see why I love it so much, she gets it. She will probably never kill anything, but she will go sit with me when we get the chance to have someone watch all the kids. Out on the boat she's happy because she can lay in the sun all day while the kids and i fish. She fishes too sometimes.

She also brings me home presents. Just bought me a springfield xd-s .45 with the 4 inch barrel last week.

No she doesn't have a sister.

That is great you are blessed to have a good wife...I am blessed the same way, she puts up with my hunting and loves to see me teaching the grandkids how to shoot and hunt.

I have to say I am pretty lucky myself. My wife never hunted until we got together. She has killed a few deer now and even helps me process them. While she isn't as passionate about hunting as I am she at least supports me. Have been trying to get out to try turkeys but she always says that its my time and doesn't want to interfere. Don't think she uderstands that getting her a bird would be very special to me. Think I almost have her convinced. :)
