Title: Morgan Friction Wood Style Call
Post by: CMBOSTC on March 13, 2016, 04:18:08 PM
With everything I've read lately regarding Mr. Morgan's call I decided to make one. She's a very good sounding call.

I made a sound file for the striker and scratch box. Mr. Kenny sure could play a call.

This is my latest version, I wasn't happy with the scratch box part of the original version. I took the lip off the box and started over with the striker. It sounds amazing, I will post sound files tonight.

It sounds good Chris. What striker you running on it? I know Morgan sent a hickory with his calls, but a few of the guys that run them said they liked a maple striker a bit better, it gave the call a little bit better roll over on them?

I'm using maple for the striker.
