I'm curious what is a good choke for a supernova with a 26" barrel. I'm planning on using longbeard xr 3.5" #5s. What would be a good choke for the longbeard? I have a new jellyhead maximum right now but I'm not overly impressed with the patterns I'm getting with the longbeards.

Yes, I have a couple of recommendations for your Super Nova and the 3.5" WLB shells with #5 shot. The Strangler choke with unique internal geometry does very well in that gun with those shells http://allaboutshooting.com/products/strangeler-choke-12-gauge-mobil-choke-660-exit-diameter
The Bone Collector, maybe one of the best kept secrets in turkey chokes also does exceptionally well with that bore and those shells http://allaboutshooting.com/products/bone-collector-smackdown-benelli-beretta-mobil-choke
and the non-ported Hevi-13 choke http://allaboutshooting.com/products/hevi-13-turkey-choke-beretta-benelli-mobil-12-gauge-332 also does very well.
I have a number of Benelli shotguns, including the Nova and all those chokes perform very well with those shells in those guns.
I hope that helps some.
Thanks,
Clark

Thanks for the suggestions. I am going to try the heavy choke, the bone collector, and a Carlson's longbeard choke.
One of my friends has a Super nova and when we patterned it, it really liked a tighter choke. The .655 jellyhead (old style) paired up with longbeard 5s did a real good job. He tried a Jebs. 650 and it was a little more even and tighter. Every gun is a little different though.
My nova and jelly head shoot those shells wonderfully. Buddys kicks shot it decent but not as well as the jelly head.
