Made this one for an interesting guy who hunts only in New Mexico and Mexico. He practices root medicine and wanted something special to put in his pocket to kill south-of-the-border gobblers. It's poplar with Eastern diamondback rattlesnake skin.
Very cool, what kind of striker are you gonna run with it?
I didn't include it in the pic but the striker is pressed bamboo cut cross-grain for grip. The snake was harvested by yours truly a couple years ago under my deer stand near Vidalia GA. (Yes where the best onions come from!). The two sound holes on top represent fang bites just for fun.
