Title: BPS optic mount
Post by: delta hunter on March 08, 2016, 08:15:27 AM
What mount do I need for a BPS? I have the NWTF edition with drilled and tapped receiver and I want to put a FF3 on it.

You need a proprietary scope base made by Browning.  Even though it is made for weaver rings and a scope or red dot that allows for two rings, you can still use a fastfire.  You may have to square off one of the slots, but that is easily done with a file.

There are no other bases that I am aware of for the bps.  I tried to have EGW make a pic rail for me but after months of trying to deal with them I gave up.  They completely blew me off.

Here is a link to the base that you need.  Any questions feel free to ask, Ive researched this to death and just wound up using the browning base.  Good luck...

I'm in the same boat. Trying to mount a Vortex Venom on my BPS.
I have the same mount listed above, but I bought it from Midwest for $5.
Just a heads up if you decide to buy one.
