Title: American Defense quick disconnect mount
Post by: codym on March 03, 2016, 10:35:27 PM
Has anyone tried this mount for the FF3 on a shotgun? Seems pretty sweet as you could quickly remove and use the beads if you had any problems with the sight.

Looks good.  Only concern is how high it makes the ff3.  If you can live with that or add height to the comb it should be good to go.

I ordered one, so we will see. It didn't seem any higher than the standard picatanny mount, I'm gonna run it on my new sa-459 20 bore so I will let you know. Should be here Wednesday.

I just put one on my encore. I like it so far. Very solid. It's not much taller than regular picatinny mount.

If you dont mind post pics or it, I would like to see it.  Do you think it would work with the protector  mount?

Here it is, it is a little higher than I hoped but just barely. I will probably use a mouse pad or comb kit.

Thanks for posting  that  cody.  It looks good, I like the way it looks and quick removal is a big plus.    A comb pad would be a good idea and should make for a nice setup.  Good luck...
