Title: Crow Call Recommendations Wanted
Post by: Jayhawkeye on March 03, 2016, 12:09:32 PM
I am trying to compile a small list of custom crow call makers for a friend. He wants to start purchasing some custom crow calls. Please post your favorite call makers or recommendations. Thanks!

Jack Mincey (JLM) probably the best sounding tonal call made which is completely hand-made w/ a cedar mouthpiece.  Not as loud as a Gibson or Mallardtone.

Faulks c-50. Been rocking one since the early 80's.

I bought a back up and extra reeds years ago, I've never needed them.

Deadly Attraction Game Calls....... I use their crow call which can be doubled as a screaming hawk call if you take the time to learn it.  The calls have good sound and have won numerous awards.  You can check them out on Facebook or at deadlyattractiongamecalls.com.  They are based out of NC and Brian does a kill job making the calls.

Gibson crow call. hands down bar none, one of the best crow calls out there today for the money. be careful or youll have an entire flock of crows come in and bust you. ive owned a few of your typical primos, hs strut, knight & hale bull crap in the past ....this is the first year ive used a crow call turkey locator successfully multiple times. get a gibson

I'm just throwing this out there...would it be beneficial to create a "call makers contact" page at the top of each subforum? Type of call/contact type of  deal?

No biggie, just thought it might be useful.

I second the deadly attraction cocobolo crow. Very realistic IMO.
