I'm trying to find out if this vest comes with a detachable seat. I hunt without a seat sometimes on my Super Elite III, so I'm hoping that the Knights has some sort of a detachable seat also.
Looking for any other pros and cons about this vest also. Really looking at it hard!
I just ordered the Knights vest it hasen't come yet, but the spring 2016 Mack's P.W. catologe showes the vest fairly well and you can see two clips holding the seat on.
Hey Kevin. Just checked mine and as was previously mentioned, there's two clips that let the seat detach!! Although, the cushion is extremely comfortable!!
Thanks! That helps alot...
Do you have any other observations about the vest, good or bad?

I just got 2 of them in the main from Knights. I'm going to be partnering up with them and doing some sales work for them here West of the Mississippi. My first impression is the vest fits similar to a tactical tater ll but lighter and with a simpler layout. The hands free feature is awesome and works very well. Russel SR. and I have discussed several things about the design and its a well thought out and practical concept.

Well since you have input I'll tell you why I opted out of it. IT'S ONE SIZE FITS ALL! horrible idea. I wear a large shirt size but to make this fit I have to pull the straps all the way in and it's still not "tight" per say and the extra strap material is just flopping around. If they did a med/lg then a xl/XXL like mossy oak, then I'd bet that I'd of bought one. Anything that fits a 2xl and adjusts to a med/large will always have bagginess. Just an idea. I'd probably still buy one if they decided to do that in the future.

I tried the Knight. I life the layout but its too floppy on me as well. I thought about the ALPS but an unloaded vest weighing 6# concerned me with as much walking as I do. I ordered an Ol' Tom I Beam. Mainly because it does fit me and I really like the Pot Call and striker holders. I guess I need to eat some more of the Boss Hen's cooking and fatten up!

On the alpz the amin thing I disliked was the same strap adjustment system, and the seat support system. It was great sitting but once up walking around and bending I didn't like a straight metal bar across my back. They should have buffered it with a contoured bar.

That's good information, as I was considering the Alps Outdoors Vest too. NOTHING worse then something hard on your back when hiking and attempting to move around.

I love my Knights Vest. I wish the sides were a little longer and the pockets a little bigger, but fit and comfort wise it's bad today the bone.
Fits ways better than Cabelas Tactical Tater
