Title: Beretta 390 turkey choke/so
Post by: cbhunter on February 21, 2016, 05:35:14 PM
I'm getting a Beretta 390 set p for turkey hunting. The gun and I are new to turkey hunting. Anyone have this gun or 3901 that has a choke that they can recommend. I have seen some available that should do the trick. Seeking out advice from someone who has found one they love. I also plan on polishing the barrel. Thanks guys.

I have one of the older humpback 390's from Wally world and it has a chrome lined bore, so no polishing needed, just keep it clean.   I run a .665 Hastings choke in it and am very well satisfied.  Last year I shot 3" Win LB XR's #5's and is dead on out to 40.  Anything in the .665 range should be about right I think.

Thanks for info. It'll be at least a couple weeks before I get things together but, I'll try to post results.

Primos Tightwad and LBs works very nice in mine.
