Title: Winchester SX3 NWTF 20 gauge choke tube question
Post by: MBC on February 20, 2016, 06:47:51 PM
I posted last March that I was getting 100 pellets or less at 40 yds on a 12" square turkey target.
Someone posted I would get 150 all day with a Sumtoy 562.5 or a Trulock .570 heavyweight choke.
2 questions:

1. Where can I find either one of these chokes?!!

2. I took a caliper to the Xtra Full Turkey choke and its .570. So why would one of these other chokes work any better!???!

You can pm Sumtoy on here directly to get info on his chokes.
My Trulock HW7 choke is .560, they do make a regular turkey choke that resembles the Carlsons that may come in .570, not sure....
It is their HW choke that most people are referring to when they mention Trulock.
Seen great patterns with both.
What .570 choke are you shooting now, factory ?

Sumtoy is great to work with, if you don't see the results you are looking for William will make suggestions and help you get there. Trulock has a money back guarantee, if you don't like what you see they will swap out or refund within 60 days.
Even though your factory choke is .570, it just may not have the internal geometry that the fcw prefers...

Well thank you, I may try one of these then. $60 is a lot to drop on a choke.
