Title: Alternative for you Bottomland fans
Post by: SteelerFan on February 19, 2016, 10:40:08 AM
Here's some info on another camo company that created Ultimate Camo. It's along the same line pattern-wise, as Bottomland, and looks pretty cool on hydro-dipped gear, as well as clothing. There's a small shop in Maryland that carries the Ultimate Camo pattern (might be others?), that does great work and they are great folks to deal with.

I'm not affiliated with either or any... just a satisfied customer. I had a black synthetic Browning A-Bolt dipped in UC.

I think it turned out pretty nice. Here is a pic of a shotgun:

How much was it to dip the shotgun? In Western MD and may give this a try over bottomland.

It was $120 for the rifle stock. Shotgun was a sample pic, so I'm not sure for full dip. Call Dave or Becky, they'll be happy to help you out. Very nice folks!

The pattern absolutely dissappears in the woods...

That camo looks really good. My shotgun is hand painted, but with bottomland in mind. You can't see it on a red oak tree...

I just bought more Bottomland camo this year, so I'm not switching any time soon, but I like to see other patterns that use actual tree bark imagery for the pattern.

Who makes or sells the apparel in Ultimate Camo?
