Title: Pronghorns vs Steadfast Boots
Post by: wisconsinteacher on February 17, 2016, 01:15:30 PM
I plan on buying a pair of boot I have it down to the Danner Pronghorn or the Danner Steadfast.  Is the Pronghorn worth the extra $100???

I've never worn the Steadfast but I have the Pronghorn snake boots and they are the most comfortable I've ever worn. They're a bit spendy but worth every penny IMO.

Take a hard look at the Irish Setter Havoc, almost identical to the Pronghorn. I'm on my third season of hard use with mine and they're still going strong. I had Pronghorns but wasn't satisfied with how they held up. The Havocs are the best boots I've ever put on my feet, and they're about $50 cheaper.
