What's yalls preference of Bottomland or Greenleaf? I like Greenleaf but leaning towards Bottomland since I see it being better for both spring and fall.

Since you brought up the fall issue, I'll say Bottomland, but I sure like the Greenleaf.

Me too I feel it's a great spring pattern. But for now I can only buy one. Maybe next year I'll get whatever I don't buy this year.

I wear the bottomland early and green leaf later. I would say the bottomland is the most versatile , but I prefer the Greenleaf for turkey hunting. that being said , either one will work well for any time. best turkey hunting pattern ever in my opinion. the stuff was flying off the shelves at the convention.
I like the Greenleaf for turkey hunting.
Either work and work well
whichever's less expensive
Greenleaf, so glad they have brought it back...
I like them both but wish they would bring back shadow leaf.
Whichever smells cleaner.
bottomland for me
Bottomland for flexibility

I agree. I think the best pattern they ever made was called Shadow Branch. I still have some but it's awfully faded.

He he. Are you a bachelor that does not get along with washing machines well?
Do they still make that Greenleaf pattern? Thought they discontinued that years ago?

Came back this year. At least for the Mossy Oak Elite vest. Haven't looked for clothing in it.

MO had cotton mill and their Tibbee lightweight camo in Greenleaf last year, sold out pretty quickly.
I'd pick Bottomland for versatility throughout the year, if only choosing one, and the new version over the original for that matter. But love Greenleaf for spring season.
I like them both for turkey hunting, but my favorite was full foliage! I wish they'd bring that one and fall foliage back!

You can actually get all the Shadow Branch you want. Drake has brought it back. I got some new this past Black Friday through Mack's.
I got Tibee pants, Tibee shirt, tech shirt, and hoodie this year all in Greenleaf, so yes it's available

Go on Amazon and type greenleaf in. Pants and shirt come up immediately.

You can get more year around use with Bottomland, but Greenleaf imho is the best mid-late spring pattern.
I am glad that brought back the original patterns
I prefer Bottomland . Why ? because I like the way it looks and 99% of my hunting weather it be turkey, ducks,or deer I'm up against a tree and Bottomland is the closest thing I have seen to that. That being said I sure would like to have one of those Greenleaf vests !
bottomland , X2 on the shadow leaf
I bought 2 sets of each. I also got a vest in each. I love the orginal bottomland and even bought my daughter a whole set to put back for when she starts hunting. (she is 2)
Well I bought the Elite vest, a long sleeve t shirt, cargo pants, and a hat in bottomland. I'm ready for the longbeards!

I have that same vest in Mossy Oak Obsession camo. Love that vest so much, it is my second one!!! Great choice!!!

After a bunch of reviews and trying different vest on it seemed like bang for the buck you can't beat it. Many people said they had the same vest 8 years! I'll take proven durability over trendy any day especially when it comes to hunting gear.

Both but my favorite is bottomland

I prefer to use a combination of the bottomland pants along with the greenleaf shirt or jacket. Best of both worlds :OGturkeyhead:
Bottomland.... never owned a piece of greenleaf, but it does look good. I would rather look like 100% part of the tree I'm leaning against. In my eyes, the green leaves will make your movement more noticeable from a distance.

I have one of the original super elites that I bought slightly used in 2002. It's seen better days, but I was still using it last season
Is Greenleaf available in any other fabric than 100% cotton? I don't like how quickly the patterns in cotton fade. Got 2 sets of Bottomland in Trek-Lite that I use much of the turkey season.

a shirt and hoodie is available through the mossy oak store that are polyester but the only pants I can find are cotton.

I wash mine in baking soda inside out and then hang to dry. they seem to hold their color very well doing this.
Depends on where I am hunting and what the area looks like.
In pines I wear bottomland or break up tops to match the trees.
If it is an area with good ground cover that has green I where the greenleaf or break up.
My favorite pattern has quickly become break up as it blends just about everywhere and it disappears in the shadows.

I have found that Break up turns into a big black blob at around 60-70 yards.

In open fall woods or before the green up in spring I agree. I have watched guys I've hunted with in the original Advantage, and MO new Bottomland, walk through the big woods at 50, 100, and 150 yards. When they stop, they just flat disappeared.
The MO Break-up, you can still see them, looks a bit too dark. Add some foliage though, and MO Break-up also disappears.
I prefer both it just depends on the area I am hunting at the time. Bottomlands works good in some areas here in North Florida, especially with the crazy winter/spring/summer we have during a weeks time. Yet towards the end of the season Greenleaf blends better since everything has finally turned green.

I was once a big Break Up fan. Nearly everything I had was Breakup. Several years ago my buddies and I went to a state waterfowl area and ended up getting blinds close to each other. At 300 yards the Breakup was black. After that I did my own un scientific experiment. I hung a Bottomland and a Breakup shirt in a tree in some fairly open woods and walked away. 50 yards and under there was no difference. Beyond that the Bottomland won hands down.
