And if so, what response if any was given ?
Also interested in this, I think it would be interesting if they did a 20 gauge 3" XR in #7 heavy weight
I think that could be the king of shells. But I also just purchased 5 boxes of Federals #7 heavy weights
They said it would be a couple years when I spoke to them at a show last spring.
What has winchester done with the 20 gauge in the last 10 years for turkey loads??
I don't see them doing it anytime soon. It costs millions for the machine and let's be honest, the 20ga isn't a tenth as popular as the 12. It's all about profit

In lead they have only provided a #5 shot option only in their turkey load for the 20 gauge users.
Exactly, and how does that help youth hunters and some women. Winchester is dropping the ball on this. It will help federal and hevi shots business though.
No plans on the drawing board
I didno ask. I've asked multiple times and got the run around. Screw em, I shoot tss anyway..but it would be a decent option for some. I give up asking...also gave up on hoping for something to compete with the Fed and hevi 7s from winchester.
They had it in the elite extended range they discontinued before the longbeard xr's.
Another whisper is maybe in two years . Whaaaat?????XXXXXXXXXX
I wish they would
Yes. Was told next year. :OGturkeyhead:
