Title: New idea for patterning
Post by: tha bugman on February 13, 2016, 07:21:48 PM
(http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160214/8d0325ae5421b3f00e283c0962142b77.jpg). My new approach to pattern testing.  Wire frames at 40 yards.  We shot three different shells then chose the best then staggered to 30 and 20 yards to see how the best load performs.  Seems to be more efficient.

Pretty good idea, I like the targets. What kind are they?

I use a similar set up, use an old election sign frame.

sorry just now realizing that you asked this question.  They are off of a thread that a member posted somewhere on Old Gobbler.  Nice target, it is pixilated but they look pretty realistic at 40 yards and they have the 10" circle with a green dot for point of aim.
