Title: I Can't Even Imagine
Post by: OldSchool on February 13, 2016, 01:56:48 PM
Winter finally made it to central NY. It's zero here now with -20 predicted for tonight along with a 25 mph wind. -20 is pretty chili and with a wind chill of -40 or so and blowing snow, I can't help but think of the turkeys hunkered down somewhere on a branch tonight. I know they're well insulated, and as long as they can find enough to eat they can generally deal with it, but It's gotta be rough.

It's a balmy 8* down here is southern NJ. It's gonna drop tonite. We've been lucky. We've only been dumped on once. Hopefully it's almost over. Fingers crossed.

Not sure what it is here right now but they've got an estimated high of 17 here today with a low of 1. Didn't see what it was supposed to be with wind chill. Did see a flock of turkeys today while checking traps though. They looked pretty chilly while standing in the pine trees near the road. All I could think was they're on the wrong side of the road and better migrate back before spring. Lol. Hope hall hunker down well and stay warm.

It's been cold in MS most of the day.  Sun went down and it turned frigid
