It's crazy how things ship these day's. I order a striker from Gobble Stix and he ship it asap..and got it...so i order some stuff from a man in Ky the same day and it's been over 5 day's getting here and i still don't have it..Ky is just a few hours from were i live..It had to go from Ky to Spokane Wa. before coming back to Tenn...
If its not shipped priority it could go anywhere.
I can ship stuff to GA and it take a week send package to CA same day it will beat it everytime I won't even talk about WV it could be there quick it could take a week! I am mailing a call to Staten Island NY ha could be interesting!
Yeah, you never know anymore. I had to order a part for our car a while back. I live in NY and the folks I placed the order with are located just outside of NY. The part shipped from Arkansas and made a big loop through some western states before heading in this direction. Crazy, for sure.

I'm in central Fl and I shipped a couple wing bones to some family a few months ago. One went to North Fl, just 3 hours away. The other went to Tn, 13 hours away. The Tn call hit the mail box 2 days before the one in Florida. Go figure :z-dizzy:
Gooserbat you are so right...i hope you get the strikers on your page for sale soon...Gobble stix sent his priority mail and had his in a couple days...
Ive had a lot of issues lately with packages taking longer than usual.. Used to I would get stuff priority in 2 days, now it seems like it may be like closer to 4 or 5 lately. Don't know whats going on but kind of annoying.
The lines at the post office are crazy I don't see how they keep it all straight

These days ...there's lots of subcontracting with usps , FedEx and ups do much of their priority work enternially and the last and first leg is performed by the mailman -
ups's sure post system is growing each year where ups handles the entire journey and then the mailman finishes the last step
With all the internet business , online couriers is a booming business , I've worked for ups for 25 years and yesterday I started work at 7:15 and finished at 9:00 pm it's not even Xmas - it's a booming business
I have also shipped a lot of packages through USPS with very little troubles. Like stated above a clearly printed label is a big help. The one time I did have issues was pretty interesting. My order left Wisconsin on it way to me in Iowa. It went to Missouri, then Colorado, back to the orignal post office it was mailed at with a stop in Minnesota on the way there, down to Illinois and finally to me. It took just over a month for it to arrive at my house.
This time of year you remember that weather can really affect delivery time.
I get musky lures from Wisconsin in 3 days. Cabelas, shipping in the same state, takes a week.
most of USPS packages are transited by Fedex
First world problem...
Once Amazon drones start delivering stuff in 15 minutes guys will gripe starting at half an hour... ;D
I've never had a problem with the usps, but my wife does all the time. The majority of the things she orders gets delayed and then transferred to ups to be delivered.
