Carlson's .575 here, haven't shot a bird with it yet but smoked a yote with it & a skunk in self defense using #4 win lead shot.

I have not. Waiting until mid march when we get some decent days. Would like to get a day in 50's with calm winds.

I will be running a carlson 575 and hevi #7 and federal #7. Everyone on here says the carlson is the way to go. I hope so as I caught it on sale for $20.

Patterned my Affinity 20 gauge Bottomland w/26" barrel today with both the Carlson's extended .575 and the Trulock Federal Hvywght 7 .565 extended chokes shooting Federal Heavyweight 3" 1 1/2 ounce #7's.    Temperature was 65 degrees with clear skies and light winds.  The Trulock had a 3 shot average of 155 in the 10" @ 40 yards while the Carlson's had a 3 shot average of 130.  Shells were Lot # 5U-10QM326.  I'll be using the Trulock choke.

That's a Mack's Prairie Wing sling.

I shot it today with a 3" load of TSS 1 5/8oz 8.5's and put 237 in a 10" circle at 40 yards.

That's about perfect with 8.5's in my opinion.

I can't find them on their website. i even called them the girl was like I have no idea what your talking about I only show 2 slings. Both claw slings. I guess they stopped selling them. It figures just what I was looking for. One without names and stuff all over it and in bottomland!! Thank you

My affinity 20 factory full shot as good as the Carlson...both were very good patterns. If I remember right around high 150s.
