I've been noticing more and more 22 ammo in Bass Pro and Dicks latley in central Mo.Just wondering if it's more available in your ares also? I hope all those people hoarding thousands of rounds hoping to gouge the price get stuck with them.
I think it WOULD be over, but all the hoarders and flippers are still buying up every bit of the stock they can. I have someone I work with that bragged about having 50K rounds of .22
Kind of pisses me off because people like that are only contributing to the problem. If I get lucky and see some I just buy a box or two. No need to take it all and screw over the next person looking for some. I probably have 1K rounds right now. But I will always grab a couple of the 50 round boxes when I see them for variety.
NOPE, not until I can walk into my local Walmart and buy a box of CCI Minimags whenever I please.
Not over yet, we are seeing more consistent flow now though, When we have the stock in it still won't make it through a weekend (we may not have a choice in brand but usually something on the shelf) . We did this back a while ago as we were seeing the "hoarding/flippers" buying everything we had and ended up putting a 100rd limit on them, we broke our 500rnd pack down when we could. We still have problems getting enough and even more with .22wmr... Sorry to say but no immediate end in sight.

22lr ammo supply is getting better but the 22mags are still scares. It's looking better though. Just got a couple cases of Remington 500rd boxes in. $25 Still no 1400rd buckets. We must get 500 calls a day looking for them.

I've been watching Ammoseek. There has been a tick downwards in price and a tick upwards in availability, but nothing significant. My guess is that there will be some relief this summer, but we won't see an end to the drought and high prices until after there is a Republican seated in the Oval Office.
It is more available but I still am seeing a lot higher prices than what they used to be. I will buy some here and there but not a huge amount for the prices that they are asking.

I'm seeing the same thing. It's on the shelves but the prices are sky high in my opinion. I have plenty at home yet, so I'm not too concerned about it at the moment.
Quite a bit to be had, but not at a price I'm willing to pay.
My 9mm reloads are less expensive than most 22 around here.
Sometimes (not very often) I'll find some limited quantities for 5 to 6 cents a round.
I don't think it will ever get back to what it was........just like everything else.
I hope so I noticed our Wally World had some.
It would help if Americans would stop putting CLOWNS in White House too.
Haven't seen it in years in my neck of the woods, I ended up diving more heavily into pellet guns for my squirrel hunting rigs.

Yep. This.
When an entire aisle endcap in Walmart is 6 feet high with shelves full of cartons of 525 rounds again.................like it was 6-8 years ago............
There's 3 smaller town Walmarts within 30 minutes of me and I watch them all. Since Sandy Hook I have seen a grand total of ONE box of 22 Magnum among all three stores..............and that was two weeks ago.
If people would stop thinking we're going to have to kill zombies that would help too. Shooting them up at zombie targets omg. Just saying.
