The random sign-up thread has not been unlocked yet. Shannon must be busy with other stuff. Your choices are to sign up on that thread, or...you might see if any of the existing teams need some replacement players from last year,... or you can also put together your own team if you can find some other guys that want to form one.
Anyone who wants to play will have a spot. Just hadn't geared up all the way yet.
