Think I would go with 2 @ 4. Or option B. A choke and ammo that consistently throws even patterns with no large gaps. I personally wouldn't get caught up with how many holes you can make in a 10" circle. The key is a nice, forgiving and even pattern. If you can consistently cover a 10" with no gaps your going to be well over 100 pellets anyways.
I'd go with #2 if it was up to me.
