Title: Beretta 390 help
Post by: kcrowder on January 28, 2016, 03:24:49 PM
Gonna start hunting with my 390 this year. Somebody point me in the right direction with a good choke to start with.  I'll more than likely be shooting magnum blends or hevi-shot #6

You have a fine shotgun and you also have a wide variety of chokes from which to choose. Your choice of shotshells is also excellent. With your system, I'd recommend that you give the SSX turkey choke a try with those shells. It's a very well designed choke tube with good internal geometry but is priced very reasonably. My readers have been using them in Beretta and Benelli shotguns for years with excellent results.

If I may be of any help whatsoever with your new gun, please just let me know and I'll do all I can to be of assistance.

Thanks,
Clark

Thanks for the reply!!! I got this gun from my neighbor a couple of years ago when he was going through a divorce and have been mostly using it as my backup duck gun but this past dove season I really "bonded" with it and it's been my "go to" ever since.   thanks for the help.   :thanks:
