I have hunted with Dan and Nancy twice. He has some new lodging and runs a great set-up. First class knowledge of his turkeys and properties.
First thing...expect rain and prepare accordingly.
That area seems to be a collection spot for weather systems from the north and west as they move across the country. It will rain.
There is a good population of birds and Ive tagged out easily and had a blast every trip. Big gobblers too, all of mine have exceeded 23 lbs, with big beards and spurs.
Do not pass the opportunity to eat at the cafe right above the camp, them girls can cook, and if Dan wants to take you to a place called Hog Heaven for bbq...GO !
I am positive you will be on birds and have a great time...enjoy !!
If I can help you in any way, shoot me a pm.
