I want to thank Russell and Mark for putting the Unicoi show together.I've never made it Nashville and may never will.When I saw the vendor lineup for the show I knew I was going to be there.A chance to meet and buy a call from some of the best callmakers in this sport.I didn't get to talk or buy a call from everyone that I had planned on buying from.It may take a few years to get around to everyone,but I do want to give a shout out to some of the ones I did buy from.Richard Hudson spent a lot of time with me helping me pick out a call and helping me learn to play it.I was lucky enough to get one of Steve Mann's Signature Short Boxes.Just listening to these guys run they're boxes and talk turkey hunting was worth the trip.I had narrowed it down to three of Marlin Watkins Fiddleboxes.Everyone that was there knows how loud it was at times.He suggested we go out into the lobby to play these calls.He told me to walk around the corner to listen to the calls as he played them.He also had me play them in front of him ,which was a little intimidating to me .He ,myself and my son came up with the best call that was suited for me.He also talked Turkey hunting with us that I consider priceless .I also got to meet and talk with Steve Torman who has always takes care of me me when I have ordered Strikers from him.Got a great two sider pot call from Ed Jenkins and played a number of Lonzo's pot calls until I picked one out.Also got a couple of mouthcalls from Kevin Farr"Peckerwrecker"Thanks again Russell and Mark,Mike
