Title: New old gobbler from the swampy piney woods of Southeast Louisiana
Post by: Buckmaster1546 on January 14, 2016, 08:37:24 AM
Been reading yall forums for years, when trying to figure out anything to do with thunder chicken huntin.
Finally joined! Looking forward to all the wisdom and knowledge from real deal (non tv oriented ) hunters that actually experience the same situations in hunting as the every day sportsman.

Lol it's cool. I work with several guys from chalmette .
They're are all good guys but the chalmation can't help but shine through at times.
Hey I pick with them and they pick with me, cause I'm from Livingston parish and the red neck can't help but shine through sometimes either. Lol

That's what I figured.
I have a buddy of mine that hunts just south of walker and my Father in law has a lease just south of the interstate that's full of Turkey's. I hunt north of Livingston on the
St Helena line in a big club called BAR-KS.
It's pretty good Turkey hunting, it's a little tuff due to hunting pressure . But that just makes you into a better Turkey Hunter. Lol plus it ain't but 3 miles from the house! I've hunted there all my life and it's perfect for taking my boys!
We've got a few members from down in your neck of the woods...
