I seen a slate call several years back. It had small holes in the slate going all the way around the slate. Closest to the rim. Anyone have information on this it is greatly appreaciated .

I believe you may be referring to a call by Tim Clayton. I think it's called Double Dealer, or something to that affect.

Guys I think this call was a production one and came in a plastic pot. It has been years seen I seen the picture. But it had small holes on top of the slate (calling surface).
I have one I bought about 20 years ago made by H. S. strut called Super Raspy Slate Call it was in a plastic pot. There is one hole in the slate about as big as your first finger.
Turkeykiller I have one of them also. This call had about 15 small holes around the outer edge of the caller.
