I'm from ohio and looking for another state to try. Last year I hunted Tennessee in early April, so Tennessee is off my list for now. Any suggestions or personal experiences would be appreciated.

For Easterns I would look at Missouri. For Rios Oklahoma or Texas. And for Merriam's South Dakota. That said I went on my favorite turkey hunt of all time last spring. It was a public land hunt up in the Rockies of Colorado where I harvested a pure Merriam's.

Western OK, Kansas, Nebraska all are good.  Missouri is good too.

				Thanks for the input.

Just toss a dart at the map! There is good turkey hunting everywhere around you. Only things I suggest, don't go to the west too early and stay away from the northeast when it's late. And Georgia, don't go there ever!  Otherwise, have at it!  :toothy9:

				Nebraska is tough to beat!

Florida is a nice escape from winter in March.
