I went on a solo hunt Wed afternoon and saw a very nice buck and told Blaine he needed to go this morning hoping he may show back up. We sat on the edge of some cut beans. This deer shows at 700 yards at daylight. He came out the third time and was 265 yards. The nice buck had not shown up and the 15 year old boy with his new .270 was very eager to shoot. Asked if he could I said yes. BOOM!! deer hit and goes into woods about 30 yards. He had also shot a coyote about 25 minutes before on a 140 yard shot. Been a great day!!
