Title: Nitro H518 4x5x7
Post by: goblr77 on October 29, 2015, 08:59:11 AM
I finally broke down and purchased some Nitros. I'll be running this load in an 835 and an SX3. Does anybody have experience with this load? I'm assuming it would like a more open choke with the larger shot and 2-7/16 oz payload.

 At the most constriction would be a .665 . I use a .665 and I have tried a 655 and a 643 and they break up. 665 and it's pitching softballs.

I haven't tried the Nitros but I believe you are correct with the more open chokes.  I have a 835 and she shoots Hevi's very well with a .670 to .676 choke.  I read that the Nitro's like something in the .695 range with the 835.

I have shot it for several years out of a SBE 2 . I'm using a .670 Rhino . I am happy with its performance .

I've got a SX3 and a rhino .670. I'd be interested to know how the H518 work. Keep me posted
