Title: Mossberg ssi-one club
Post by: KYStalker on September 29, 2015, 01:50:30 PM
Say hello to the newest member of the Mossberg ssi-one club.  Picked one up for a deal and it looks awesome.  It will go well with my 835 and 935, plus I won't have to buy any new chokes.  It's a sweet little gun.

Congratulations and welcome to the club. I know you'll really like that gun. I've had one for many years and need to get it out and shoot it more than I do. They are really great shooters.

Thanks,
Clark

Clark, did you ever install a Limbsaver 10001 on your SSI?

I put a grind to fit pad on it but if I were doing it today, I'd seal the butt with some polyurethane and use  one of the slip-on AirTech pads.

Thanks,
Clark

Bought a Limbsaver 10800,  not a great fit.  Exchanged it for an airtech slip-on, medium, and it fits great.  I haven't got to shoot it yet, but I'll advise when I do.
