Iv'e had cameras out for the last few months and I've seen very little movement. I'm taking my 9 year old son out tomorrow afternoon for his first deer hunt. We are going to sit in ladder stand about an hour from the house. I'm normally so excited about hunting I usually cant sleep the night before. I'm not sure why but I'm not into as I should be. I guess the limited movement of deer has something to do with it Regardless this will be fun and hopefully we can tag a deer this season. Be safe and have fun out there.

The first night we went out we sat in a ladder stand. That was the first time my son had been in a stand. It was fun to watch him attempt to sit still. He made me chuckle many times. There was doe laying about 50 yards from the stand and unfortunately the only deer we saw. We went out again another night and sat in my turkey blind. We did not see a thing. I think the blind has a bad mojo. We sat about 25 hours in it this last spring and he never did get his bird. Sunday is the last night of the youth season so we are going to hit it a few more nights. Going to try a new spot tonight. Hoping to fill a tag!!
