Has anybody had problems with 3 1/2 long beard xr pattern bouncing around. The 3 inch shells seem to pattern the same every time
They all bounce around.(LB XR's) It's been tested in far superior guns than my berettas and 870's. I noticed it with both of my 870's pretty quickly. Thought it was me while I was shooting magnum gobble dot adjustable steel sights and then I put red dots on my guns and found the same thing. Seen patterns on here up close with a competition gun and the patterns were wandering around. Close range, 20yds I didn't like what I was seeing. Tuff enough with a pattern that small but when it's wandering around I lost confidence in the shells. Back to Hevi 13, FedHW 7's, and Win XX, HV, and Super-X 6's.

They have been consistent for me.
I had the same issues. A forum member recommended a slightly more open choke from Indian Creek and everything started working well. I can put my 10" spread MOSTLY where I aim it now. It still moves a little but at 35-40 yards if I aim at a 2" circle it's inside my 10" spread with plenty of room to spare.

first off they shoot awsome in my gun,with that said i have learned you really have to watch lot numbers with these shells,i recently got a ff3,3 and 1/2 inch 6 shot was shooting awsome,i had about three boxes i had bought together,plus some i had got here and there. i zereod the dot and shot a quite a bit,this was a new gun i had recently got so i had been pattern it alot.i had a perfect combo going,shot my last shell and opened a new box,shot and it was about 5 inches high and to the right.i thought my dot had messed up,(this is my first fast fire) i shot another and the same thing.i looked at the shells and they were a different lot number so i opened one of the boxes that was the same as previous and shot one of them.there was my perfect pattern back on my original zero,shot another, same thing,got one of the shell and that was shooting off and shot it,it was hitting with the rest in that box.so i took and marked the ones that its zeroed with so i will know come season.i guess when i shoot those up ill have to rezero for the other lot numbers.i shoot alot of match shells through a anschutz 22 rifle and i know how important lot numbers are there but i never dreamed it would make that much difference with a shotgun,but pay attention to them,and when you get one you like try to by more of that same lot number if possible.
Sumtoy can show you up close results out of competition barrels and the patterns jump around constantly. The further out that you shoot and the larger the pattern is the less you notice the variances. At 15-20 yds the LB's are going to shoot extremely tight now matter what the choke. I harvest allot of turkeys inside 20yds so a soft ball size pattern that wanders around doesn't serve my purposes very well.

Ok goose , what combo you shooting? Tried different lots? Chokes, etc.
