Title: Loftis Brazilian Walnut Striker
Post by: davisd9 on August 04, 2015, 09:29:39 AM
Has anyone used this striker?  I have the carbon tipped one that I use on my Crystal Screamer with good success but thinking about picking this one up as well.  Any opinions?  Thanks!

Brazilian Walnut, or IPE makes an excellent striker.. It's great on glass and crystal, but will play well on just about any surface.

Order a osage top, aluminum shaft, black palm tip from Harold fowler.  It's stupid good on my Crystal screamer.

Donald---Ipe makes a great striker. I have one from David Loftis, one from Fred Cox, and one from Steve Torman and they run on any surface.

Did not realize Brazilian Walnut was the same as Ipe. Learn something new everyday.
