Like lots, I run calls year round. Almost any chance I get n I often mix strikers. I normally reserve my hickory strikers for slate. Some reason I tried it on Brad Roberts glass n it gave a different pitch than the Yellowheart striker that came with it but the sound is incredibly real. Anyone else ever try this?
I like mine with my Lonnie sneed Purple Heart, and believe it or not, my down and dirty war hammer.
My favorite on my Brad Roberts poplar/ glass is a tulipwood. Sounds absolutely awesome.
Not saying other strikers aren't great, just never liked hickory on glass but this call likes it. Likes a bunch of strikers though
