Here is the culprit that cost me my finger ..... Eastern Red Cedar - Mahogany and Osage... have to finish her up somehow....she is a sounder for sure....gonna call her my "Blod, Sweat and Tears" series.....lol...pappy...hope you like her lmbngr

My wife had some guy come in, and put all the guards back on when I shortened my thumb. Took me 3 hours to take them all off again using only one hand.

Great looking call but I'd probably have to burn it just because. Maybe it will bring pain to another old bird in the future. Hope your hand will be alright soon.
Cool looking scratcher. Sorry to hear about your fingers. 25 stitches are a lot. Did you cut any tidons? Man that must have hurt. Hope it heels up fast.
