Does anyone know if the pellet counts are similar for the Nitro 4x5x7 and the Mag Blend 5x6x7 in a 3" shell? Or even what the pellet counts are for the two. Thanks

3" mag blends 400
3.5" mag blend 450

i dunno about nitros but i would assume they are higher by at least 75 or so but probably more

Mag blend has more larger pellets than Nitro triplex loads. More small pellets will be much more impressive on paper. For tipping over toms, they both will do the job at practical ranges.

I've only seen one case where the Magblends out performed the triplex on paper, but feel it was merely due to the choke used for the comparison.
