Better throw your name in the hat if you want one. I guess Lonzo found some glue that would work.

I do not. I saw the calls on Lon's facebook page and texted for the additional information. He will probably be willing to run one over the phone for you.
Fantastic looking pots!!

Man those are steep!
Given the high cost of cast acrylic and the difficulty in turning and polishing, I consider those prices very reasonable.

I ordered one of the black acrylic aluminum pot calls from Lon. He would not tell me what the soundboard was made from. Said it was a secret he wanted to hang onto. He has a sound file on Facebook of his aluminum and bronzed glass acrylic calls. Killers.
Awesome looking pot calls :icon_thumright:
As a call maker, I understand the cost factor in making calls from materials that are costly in themselves. I contacted an acrylic dealer about purchasing some blanks for pots, he sell thousands of blanks for duck calls and pen blanks, so he has materials but....he says that in order to sell pot call blank size materials it would be necessary for him to buy enough material in one order that would be approximately 4' X 8' X 1" at nearly 2,000 to 2,500 dollars each with a minimum of three sheet orders. Yep, folks it is true, sad but true, when you have to deal with material handlers you are at their mercy, I have a couple blanks that I am currently working on in multi-colored layers, and will be turning out a couple pots, but they are expensive as compared to a pot made from a piece of wood....that is just the way the ball bounces....... :blob10:
