Title: Longbeard 3" 4s in an 870?
Post by: Borden811 on June 28, 2015, 08:25:22 PM
I cruised through the pattern pic section, and didn't see much. Is anyone shooting 3" longbeard 4s out of an 870? If so, what choke are you using, and what kind of numbers are you getting? Thanks in advance for any help/info you can provide!

I shot some 3 in. Longbeards the 1 7/8 oz and they patterned just fine .. I left my 655 gt in it and put somewhere in the 140 count at 35 yds .. And got even better results out of an hr pardner 3in chambered but they are same as 870 in a pump gun.  Prolly do better with a less restricted choke but I will use it next spring like it is
